Profile

Since the inception of the course Diploma in mechanical Engineering in the year 1984 along with Civil Engineering and Electronics Engineering with intake of 60 and the current intake is 120. The Department is equipped with the needed and adequate infrastructure to nurture the students as knowledgeable professionals. Department is providing qualitative learning environment and in addition imparting necessary training to improve the employability of students. Mechanical Engineering Association (MEGA) periodically arranges seminars, guest lectures, workshops, symposia etc for various developments of students. The Department is having well equipped Thermal Engineering, Fluid mechanics and fluid power, Modern workshop, Metallurgy, Process automization lab, Computer aided design lab, lathe section and special machine lab.
