The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the
year 1992 with an annual intake of 60 and approved by AICTE, Govt. of India and
Affiliated to DOTE, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, and present intake is 120. It offers a
three years diploma programme in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with DOTE
curriculum. The department gives equal importance on both theoretical and practical
issues in Electrical and Electronics Engineering field. The department has well
qualified, dedicated and experienced faculty who have been the driving force behind
the rapid success of this department. The department has an excellent infrastructure
and well equipped laboratories with modern equipments. The department also has a
library with text books and question banks which will motivate the students for
learning and research.
